Smart contracts, infrastructure and
Zero Knowledge.

Applied cryptography, ZK circuits, and smart contract development. We ship production code into Consensys's gnark and Starknet's standard SNARK verifier garaga, build ecosystem tooling like Starklings, and design privacy protocols like MISTzap.

About

Since 2022, we've focused on blockchain infrastructure, zero-knowledge proofs, and applied cryptography for the Ethereum ecosystems. Before that, we worked in general web and application development, starting in 2014.

What we do

01

Applied cryptography

Bespoke verifiers and provers; homomorphic encryption and targeted optimization work. Production ready.

02

Smart contract development

Smart contracts development for trustless, enterprise grade protocols covering DeFi, aggregators and multi-participant designs.

03

Zero Knowledge designs

Private state management with zero knowledge statements with frontend proof generation for trust-minimised private protocols.

04

Protocol Architectures and Deployment

End-to-end protocol development, from contracts and circuits to internal tooling, interfaces and services around them.

Projects

gnark

Consensys

zk-SNARK circuit library, 1.6k+ GitHub stars, used in Linea and elsewhere in the Ethereum zk stack.

Shramee is gnark's largest external contributor by commit count. Every contributor ranked above him on GitHub's contributor list — gbotrel, ThomasPiellard, ivokub, yelhousni, Tabaie — is a Consensys or Consensys/Linea team member, confirmed both by gnark's own published contributor affiliations and directly by the client.

Merged pull requests, spanning releases v0.10–v0.15:

garaga

Starknet

Standard SNARK verification library for Cairo and Starknet.

Our cairo_pairing project verified the first ZK proof on Starknet. Its extension-field-batching technique was later adopted into garaga. Garaga's maintainers describe the technique as making Miller loops “almost 2x cheaper,” with witness size that stays constant regardless of proof count (PR #129).

Shramee is listed in garaga's official contributors list.

Starklings

OnlyDust project

Interactive Cairo/Starknet tutorial, inspired by Rustlings. Available as a browser app (starklings.app) and a CLI tool, sharing one set of exercise definitions.

470+ GitHub stars, 450+ forks, 200+ commits. Used in workshops and hackathons in the Starknet ecosystem, and referenced publicly by StarkWare co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson.

Cairo Pairing

Independent research

BN254 pairing implementation. 732+ commits. Implements the full pairing check, lazy field reduction, and a residue-witness technique that removes the final exponentiation step. Verified Starknet's first ZK proof; its core optimization was later adopted into garaga.

Built on optimizations from Aranha et al., Costello–Stebila, and Novakovic & Eagen. Groth16 verification runs in roughly 7 million steps.

Noir ElGamal

Additive homomorphic encryption for Noir, using elliptic curve ElGamal. Key generation, encryption, decryption, homomorphic addition, and in-circuit message-embedding verification.

Hanji

Documentation generator for Cairo, written in Rust. Produces Markdown output with an index for README embedding.

Cairo Latte

Searchable catalog of Cairo functions pulled from GitHub repositories, with fuzzy search and live star/commit data.
